WELLNESS CHECKS before coming to work

What is your macy's doing as a wellness check? Is there somebody taking your temperature before coming into work? If so, who is doing it?

My store does it everyday with every shift. A manager / supervisor sets up by employee entrance and completes wellness check everyday consistently.

I come in later than most colleagues and only had a temperature check the first week we were open (mid-May). Our store manager is conducting them.

Nope! No one checks and they just click that they did it in the wellness section. They also aren’t cleaning like they say they are or like their supposed to. They run the cleaner as a manager or cashier for coverage instead

And that is why I feel that it is unsafe to return to work especially having elderly people at home the case s are not going down and when an employee can't afford to call in because they need the money what is to keep them from saying yeah I took my temp when in fact they did not

They ask a total of 4 questions, you take your own temperature at home and i can tell you that they are notconsistent with doin the wellness check at my store, some weeks they haven't asked many coworkers. No checks during the day. Macy's is absolutely playing with fire.

Check yourself That is the most absurd thing I have seen. No employee should be allowed inside any store unless their temp is checked before entering.

I work in the Secaucus NJ Warehouse: Temp check every day and look for symptoms. (sent home if over 100), masks required.

My store has a people leader in the morning at the employee entrance with a digital thermometer.

Take your temp every day. You have to answer every work day that it's below a certain number that day AND has been that way for the previous 72 hours.

A member of management or AST will check you in. If you are cleared, you clock in and go to work.

No, do it yourself at home. You will be asked about it every morning and if you forget they will give you a free disposable (abd reusable) temperature strip to use right there at work.
