Guys- are you being forced to take a pay check from CVS? You can quit anytime and sc--w carepass. But you take the paycheck, then you do what the paycheck tells you to do.

I only work 2days 4 hour shifts a week . 8 hours a week with a manager and assistant manager. I did not sell a care pass during my 4 hour shift and got a write up for poor job performance and not meeting care pass goal. I was told not getting someone to sign up for care pass was unacceptable and I needed to own not doing my job. This is a small town on a Sunday where most customers purchased 1 thing. This company need to warn new hires they only care about you selling care pass. Also they seem to only care about the manager and assistant manager. The fill in cashier don't matter unless you sell a care pass each time you work. These managers been here 30 years have no patience to train any new people they hire to help with covid clinic. They constantly wanting you to fill out surveys about how you like your job and say it will be confidential. Yeah Right!!!

Yes. Its absolutely stupid. Our manager is constantly on us because his job is on the line. He has to do a daily conference call if the store doesn't hit the daily minimum. Who wants to buy something and be charged a monthly fee, and lose the benefits if you don't get to the store each month. Also charging tax on the carepass is a rip off.

They are CONSTANTLY on our as–sabout mentioning carepass to EVERY customer, they even make u sign a paper basically saying that ur gonna get a carepass every shift..... Do you not see that selling something takes a skills???????? And more in a neighborhood where most people are poor and don’t care about signing up for a membership! I was told I would get written up if I don’t sell carepass, and eventually fired for the many write ups of not selling carepass. This is not fair. I’ve been working for the company for 6 years.. if I get fired for not being able to sell their membership then so be it..... it literally is so bad.... the company literally makes u feel like it worthless because u can’t sell carepass... they also told me they would lower my hours...

Cdmers do not want carepass get tired of being asked as there no way to let cashiers as to which Ones has been asked. A lot of people shop with us when they get of work so they don’t have to sat the big box where it less expensive. Don’t want to wait in line while cashier is signing customer for care pass holding up line. Even if it is saving money.

In a word, Yes. Eventually CVS will have fired nearly every current Manager and have to start over. I think they want it that way so they can hire New Managers for less money.

Yes, I was constantly threatened and written up because we did not hit our goal. Low coupon store, highest volume store in the district, have self checkouts which customers love as we all know and due to the pandemic only had one register that I could have an employee, So when my cashier would get a carepass the line would back up to the wall. Got old, I moved after 20 years of being a top performer on the real metrics.

Yes everyday. It's like we are forced to harass our customers all the time . Day in and day out. If not we lose hours for not selling carepass.

I am sure it goes all the way up to the investors for starting to have the membership as a de facto, since they want to directly compete with the Amazon digital pharmacy. And everyone like a proper MLM gets bonuses apart from the clerks. Petty 3 usd per carepass (pre taxed) while the store gets 100 usd in credit sales per CP. f— that.

CVS also needs to fix issues with signing people up, registers prompts would you like to reactivate your carepass they say yes but system denies it on them. Also tells people bad email but they get emails from CVS.

We have at least one conference call per week about selling carepass. It's super stressful.
I hate asking every customer about it. We are asked to meet quotas. We HAVE to get our numbers up. We HAVE to get a certain percentage.
It IS a cool program. But, many customers don't want to be bothered - good deal or not.

Your the mo–n. Most stores are not doing what you claim. I'm in a town with 4000 people and most dont want it. If that carepass is sticking around I guess you should be the sole saleman!!
Most of us cant leave because we cant afford it. Cvs firing people over it is b—s—. My title is store leader not carepass leader.

Anyone who praises Carepass is a corporate stooge. Fact as a customer I am tired of hearing about the damn thing and no longer use cvs PERIOD. How is that for profit? I know 5 others who now have it spend exactly the free amount or as close to as possible thus costing company 5 bucks a month. They will never buy more than that amount and do it only hoping to harm company for treating employees and customer like c-ap. Cvs is a dieing c-aphole without a pharmacy it ends and even that ia sliding south due to understaffing and bad treatment. Cant wait to dance on the cvs rubble when it finally crashes.

Yes. And it’s. Going to result in a class action lawsuit. Someone’s going to get fired for it, and if anybody does they need to sue for wrongful termination

Can you say class action lawsuit. Quotas always come back to bite company’s in the azz. Ask Wells Fargo how that went just a matter of time before threats and pressure make employees do the wrong thing. Lawyers will have a field day

Yes, told that if we don't get 2 a day find someone who will. This has been the constant with the exception of the first month of covid-19. Then they cut our hours again. I'm out.

5th best company in the world?
Statements like that Proove that cvs really ignores the engagement surveys.
Im guessing that is why execs like helena and kevin have left for other companies

Just sell the damn CarePass and get over your self..

Here is what you don’t want to hear:

CarePass isn’t going away, if you think it is you’re an id–t.

CarePass will provide your store with extra profit, if you think that customer that has a CarePass reward that she needs to use is only spending $10 dollars to get it free your a mo–n that needs to pay attention more. The CarePass reward spenders are spending 10-15 more in my store so it is extra sells.

CarePass is the future of CVS, it will be the forever up-sell item. FOREVER, not going away, it will only expand to something more!!!

Leave the 5th best company in the world to work for if you don’t like the way this is evolving. Leave now, or shut up.
