Recently RIFed; anyone know how long I have before returning the laptop and other company belongings? Especially with office being closed?

After not receiving the return packaging for over a month after being RIF'd on June 9th, I sent an email to my former Global Head and acting CTO. I received a response from the CTO within 5 minutes asking his admin to take care of this for me. So disorganized.
It like the Titanic in slow motion....
And they bollix the whole process. No knowledge transfer, no opportunity to say goodbye to friends? Meanwhile leaders get millions. I wonder how they sleep at night. Never mind, that would assume they have a conscience.
Agreed, don't worry about it. Sometimes you'll get an email with a Ship To address and if you're lucky, a pre-paid shipping label. Wipe the device hard drive and take to FedEx or UPS. Very often, it does just get thrown into a pile and recycled.
Don't worry about it. Someone will contact you, and send you a pre paid box to pack your AIG stuff. Generally, your laptop and screens just get stored in a closet somewhere. It's another colossal waste of money.
