Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

I got a money deposit from Macy’s.

So Macy’s deposited money into my account after I signed the severance package, but it’s only a $100. The first email said it will be a lot more. I am confused about what is going on.

Check your pay advice(paystub) on insite. It will indicate what the payment was for.

Does anyone know how to check your unused and accrued PTO on my insight as a former colleague? I can login as a former colleague, but cannot access my time off and have tried getting through to HR and cannot get a hold of anyone. I thought about calling my former manager but she never knows anything anyway. Any advice? I am asking because my payment last Friday was very small and I know I had at least six unused PTO days before the furlough started.

PTo check! Do you check what did indicate the date. I beleive before your last pay check date. Macys is smart to handle and let you apply the unemployment. Your Feb laid off co- worker. I am happy to collect money. Do not worry and just signed the package. And let go and move on

I also received direct deposit on Friday. Check on Insite to see; there should be a payslip to indicate hours paid. I am annoyed that the company isn’t being transparent with these payments .... nowhere have I been given a breakdown of how many days I was being paid out or any type of notice that it was being deposited on the 17th.

Yes declare your PTO.

I also got my PTO payout. Does that mean we have to declare it for unemployment benefits?

It can't be your severance. It takes 2 to 3 weeks after signing.

If it was deposited today the 17th ( Friday) that was your accrued PTO payout
