Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

All regional employees has assessments as of today.

If you are a regional employee and are on an role to be assessed then you have your assessment as of today. After today if you you are a regional facing employee and have not been given an assessment to complete then either your job is 100% safe or 100% gone. This DOES NOT include claims, underwriting, and home office. If 100% gone then your notice should be provided within the next 10 days or less. Claims, underwriting, tech support, and home office will have their fate determined and communicated by second week of September. These areas are NOT a part of the regional elimination phase.

Assessments are just legal jargon to prevent lawsuits. Names and areas likely known and decided long before assessments were given.

Are assessment tests still being used or just performance and tenure for redundancies?

As OP said but poorly worded is claims and home office will be final, complete, and most 60 day notices done and completed in September meaning within the next week or two impacted areas in claims and home office will know what is happening to them.

I find this hard to believe. Home office has already been impacted, claims has been told they would know something by the end of July. Not sure where your information is coming from.

But Eric "Exciting Times" Brandt said Claims would know by the end of the month. Was he lying? Stay tuned!
