So we split into two groups in the store to work 3 days. Someone in the other group got covid. Didn’t tell us for another week or so. Now they want to clean after a week of working in there. If I get this virus at work I will be taking legal action!!! Because clearly they ain’t getting this through there head how serious this is

They just quarantined that other team. After finding out a week before that the rep had symptoms and was getting tested. we have been exposed because we had to come in the next day to cover their shifts so imagine our fear when we found out days later That they are finally going in to clean the place . The way Verizon is going about this is very scary. They want the stores open so they are trying to make the other team work if no symptoms are present. We haven’t even had time to go get tested so who knows if we are also carrying the virus or not. Idk if this is on the execs but the directors and DM are pretty much calling the shots and they are putting us in jeopardy to soon.
Same thing will happen to those that return to office
This needs to be looked into @vzw. Send a survey asking questions. Let’s fix this, the fall will be worse. We are one team right?
Are they not quarantining the store employees or they’re just rolling the dice to see who it spread to among the workers? And how many customers has this rep exposed?
Talk about opening themselves up for a lawsuit. If the customers only knew they worked with a COVID + patient and the company knowingly allowed it. YIKES. Lawsuits abound!
