Why do we still have area ops managers, when the shops are so dwindled down. Wasted jobs. Keep operations safe and let them report to geozone manager

come on guys, he was hired to file Chapter 22. With the approval of Citi-bank. Who by the way is going to lose another 2 billion. the iceberg is in the rear view mirror.

A change at the top doesn’t mean anything. The rest of the management is still in tact. A new gas pedal doesn’t fix the engine. They should look at correcting or replacing the Geozone Managers and stay the hell away from Operations and it’s people. That’s where the revenue is or at least that’s where is was. The mid-level decisions from above has helped destroy us. I know some of the decisions did not come from above them.
All bonuses do is make liars out of people. They start manipulating the bonus curve and its all fouled up. Either accept the fair salary and add value or go away
Why do we never promote people from within to these roles?
I think there should be bonuses. However the pot should be a percentage of the profit and EVERYONE should get exactly the SAME cash payment. The base salary should compensate for skill / seniority / responsibility / role etc and should lie somewhere in the top 30% of the general market and the bonus should simply be a straight and equal addition reflecting the financial performance in a particular year.
Everyone should be straight salary no bonuses. Chasing the bonusus is k–ling wft
He’ll be like all the other ‘Leaders’ we’ve appointed over the past few years - gone within 24 months max. IF the company lasts that long.
No doubt he’ll pocket a nice golden handshake for his troubles and leave the staff who carry the company to do what they always do.
