Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Try Harder

It took me about 1 year to get out of O, but I got out. After 6 years at O, working for my hero, Larry Ellison, I felt so dirty. Everything was such a scam, lying and cheating and audits. I would never do this to any of my customers, but everyone around me was glad to, in order to make a their quota and a feeble paycheck. Class of, let O have them. Good for them.

Do yourself a favor, and try your hardest to get out of there and you will feel like a fresh shower in the morning and a career that can move you forward.

Let me get this right you stayed in a company you hated for 6 years and felt dirty while working here. That says a lot about you, if you can't cut it you should of resigned in the first year. Where did you go now, 7/11? Tell me what you did at oracle, where you worked and what you contributed in 6 years of hatred other then spread your virus to another company. I'll bet your not showering at this new company either. Hatred follows you.

Talking of audits, we pay millions to EY. Another sham where documents and processes are made up on the fly. Basic “Information Security” is non existent and nobody wants to take ownership. Oracle also makes a fool of government work.

I left oracle and joined Cisco is 2015. Left Cisco in 2016 and joined google cloud in 2017. Joined oha in 2018. Finally joined oracle back in 2020 with more pay.

I can only tell once thing. Other side of the grass is always green. All companies are same. Learn to enjoy work !!!
