Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeywell policy regarding COVID-19

Has anyone seen an actual written policy regarding paid leave in the event of suspected exposure or a positive test result?

I’ve heard that they will pay for a certain amount of leave but I haven’t found any new policies to confirm it.

Don’t worry “The future is what you make it”....

Honeywell doing a “great” job of employee morale and reputation.

Trust Honeywell they know what is best for you because “The future is what we make it”, unless you were furloughed or laid-off. Make sure you sign the statement.

When I had covid back in May, I emailed HR and no one ever contacted me. I stayed out 3 weeks and received my full pay-not disability. I just kept in touch with my team/manager. I dont think that they know/have an actual policy. I was laid off by the time I was better.

Where have you guys been? The federal government requires they pay you two weeks of leave if you or a family member gets sick or if you need time off because of childcare due to covid 19. Not a Honeywell policy- it’s the law.

policy is same as any other disease. 7 days then short term leave. Then disability. Get back to work.
