Someone posted in another thread they were tired of seeing people come here and whine about their above average salaries. I will say again - xom is not above average for the industry. Xom is verage and in some cases below their peers.

I noticed in a previous thread which was deleted that several of those PIP’d were CL 27’s.

But Exxon once you are above CL27.. it’s very hard to get you out of the company. You can breeze through your work day, take a nap and have energy to pursue other hobbies..

Better go to work for Chevron! Top performer at Exxon as CL 29 is in the $350k range. Only those ranking in the top 2 quintiles receive restricted shares. There is no bonus pay. There are some CL 29’s that are highly rated, but will never reach the CL 30 Executive level. Consequently they will reach a point of salary transition at some point in their career.

Future salaries will be far lower than historically. EM is systematically removing all retirement benefits and everything else related to long term “competitive total renumeration” If you are only going to stay based on the fantasy outcome of a great salary and pension you are delusional. EM is no longer what it was and the current leadership has no interest in the prosperity of its employees. Everyone deserves to know the truth
