Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Last of the bunch to leave. Xerox is sinking

Well, it took me about 4 years but I finally decided to leave this poorly lead company. Not sure if it is decisions all the way up to John V but I do know at a local level the cores are awful. With more to come September 1, I could not wait around any longer. As the #1 rep and selling manager in the region, I got one call asking if there is anything they can do to keep me. My answer was, bring all 65 people back that were furloughed and get rid of darn HCL. Never seen a worse managed company. Get out while you can.

I work for one of the XBS cores. Once Icahn/JV got involved, our benefits went straight in the dumpster. They weren’t great to begin with, but they were awful come late 2018. I’ve been watching Icahn and JV hack away at the company for two years now... all so the shareholders can get more money.

Same in Europe. Good people left. Revenue still down due to COVID and we loose existing customers. Not even talking about winning Hunting deals... Probably question of time until we see Xerox pulling off countries here.

I worked for one of the cores for 3 years and the most striking thing to me was the arrogance around the poor quality products we had. Prior to Xerox I dealt with many Japanese products and with confidence I can assure you these are not "the best" products. Also the benefits were so bad I was afraid to seek medical care unless I was possibly dying. Super glad to have gotten out!

Bring back 65 furloughed (skilled and needed employees) AND get rid of HCL?
Good thing you were leaving on your own because a suggestion like that would have only got you fired anyway.
You clearly are going against the grain of the supreme beings that have decided that you are all lazy and have too many employees and that the job they do is so easy that all the next level work can be done in countries half way round the world without certification.
You are clearly a traitor to the Supreme Johnnie
For shame....blasphemer

Good for you!! Xerox helped me develop my skills and experiences and I took them elsewhere where they are respected. Xerox talks about their culture but they don’t have any - it’s a sh–hole company, what can I say! Best decision I made in my life was to leave that trash hole & now that COVID blew a hole the size of the moon in its business case, man am I glad I acted when I did. Anyone with advanced degrees, in demand skillsets, or top performers should leave immediately - u are wasting your talent working at this t–d!

We’ve lost most of our Top Performers over the last few months. It won’t be long before the rest leave as well. What a CLUSTER F Xerox has made out of the GIS cores. So sad.
