Did anyone from Bloomingdales 59th St. get any paperwork regarding the layoff? I was recalled for 2 weeks from furlough and then laid off. I never got any papers, and signed nothing regarding severance. I was given the run a round for several weeks and then finally told that because we are a Union store, we receive nothing in writing. The Union took care of everything. I didn't even receive a list of the Date of Birth and Seniority of those laid off. So, I guess I'm supposed to assume that everything was handled properly? It seems that Union stores do not have to adhere to the Warn Act. Did anyone else from 59th Street have the same problem?
