Well they blamed Mr. Volker saying he was the reason the ship was sinking. I guess that theory was debunked, now the high and mighty Holly really knocked a hole in the side of the ship. In fact looks like he removed the whole floor, to many hired employees in the wrong places. No way needed all those teams and oo’s eeo’s and whatever he came up with. Sure didn’t need a new office in Denver did you. Meanwhile all the guys doing the grit to keep it going got sent packing. And holly can take money from a company that’s going down, what a pos.

How the f— is any bankruptcy successful, Ask the vendors and investors that lost millions to whiting how f—ing Successful it was you mo–nic f—ing id–t.
Everyone there walks on eggshells, you wouldn’t get an honest answer from anyone. It will be the same song and dance this time around. Those that are left will get nervous whenever our phone rings, or when we get that oh special Wednesday meeting. Hi I’m .... we aren’t laying anyone off . Only because we haven’t had time to go through the files yet lol. But our 97% owners will be meeting with us tomorrow and putting a plan together.
YES! IT MOST CERTAINLY IS THE MANAGER'S FAULT.
I honestly wonder which of you management shills is sad enough to argue on an internet message board.
So it’s managers’ fault, uh huh... Lol ok, I got no more comments
You are a dumb a– why don’t you ask the people that were flying back and forth to Denver every month not just a couple, but dozens. You obviously just like to argue, go back to your desk, and your afternoon pedicure. Because you have no clue what the guys did out there.
Because the dumb–s managers lied about reserves and made us drill up spaces we should have left. Should have drilled these when prices were better and we had better technology to recover more at a lower cost.
We can work hard, but if the managers lead us off a cliff, what can we do?
Just curious, not tryina prove any points here... If the hardworking folks were so great, why did they get the company to the point of that much debt and zero undeveloped acreage?
Exactly what is it that’s so hard to understand. Nothing worse than a lier and a thief. You don’t mess with the people making the place work.
Dude, it's not the bankruptcy that we're angry about. It was inevitable.
It's the way gave his buddies cushy jobs while laying off the hard working folks.
It's the way he got paid many millions for doing and okay, job.
It's the way he and the top brass lied and said no layoffs, and then layoffs happened.
Bankruptcy was inevitable way before Brad came over, look at the debt payment schedule. As for the activity mentioned in earlier comment, i am doing well without it - almost former CEO doesn’t even know my name.
If you are so smart, why don’t you tell us how you would pay off a huge chunk of debt by 2021 without filing bankruptcy?
Dishonest about what? Brad carried the company through the bankruptcy, and a pretty successful one, imho. As for his character, idgaf who he was "hosing" in his free time, and you shouldn't either. And lastly, if you live in the world where you think there ARE companies that don't promote their buddies, give fair opportunities to all employees regardless experience, skin color, gender, etc.... Wake the f up. You are asleep.
Why is your post being downvoted?
Holly's overpaid buddies must prowl this board.
That’s what I was wondering other than spend a lot of money, and fire everyone. Hose his secretary. Holly was a dishonest, lying pos end of story
Holly did what Volker should have done a long time ago. Not sure why y’all are complaining.
Volker and Holly were a huge part of the reason: Volker lied about reserves and we drilled up tons of uneconomic inventory. Holly was a fool who promoted his buddies.
It's just that now it's a day late and a dollar short. Whiting just really can't make money. Cutting employees won't make a dent. Reserves are depleting and we drilled up stuff we should have left for later.
