Cabling works, wifi device troubleshooting, printer reconfigurations are very minimum too. might not have enough work for one full time role.

If the last field engineer is tasked to some offices or hubs, will there be enough work to justify a full time role?
Probably after they are done closing offices, converting the employees to permanent teleworkers. The remaining IT staffs are being tasked to some offices.. and all the DC and hubs.
Btw, OCI lay-off majority oracle IT field engineers. Only one engineer left from a team of 3 of that site. If the last engineer goes, will real estate team become the site friend for all field works, like check cabling, fix printers, reception phone and etc...?
So where will existing employees work?
So where will oracle relocate employees?
Yes, with all the leased sites closing, assume layoffs.
They've been fixing up ADC for the past year, I'm sure they will find a buyer or have one lined up already. They still have 3 - 4 orgs there with varying foot prints, being migrated to cloud over the next year.
Now what about that fancy downtown campus?
Good to know that the exec team is working hard to deliver “shareholder value”.
I heard ADC was going to be shutdown very soon.
Yes. The pandemic has resulted in a drastically reduced need for real estate assets and a consolidation/reduction in “footprint” is the only rational response. Expect massive actions this quarter and next. This was expected, makes sense, and is the right thing to do for the shareholders.
