if you backout you get no money and they don’t have to keep your role.

if you accepted and back out they don’t have to guarantee your job and they owe you nothing.

yep, you can back out 7 days after Oct 5 and come back....
7 days after oct 5 since you can back out even after
That date is actually October 5th is my understanding
if you accept today the final decision is actually Tues, Sept 8. That is when HR or whoever will send final documentation to sign and you will have a last opportunity to change your mind. However, who know what that does to increase chances of being LR'ed later
