I posted a couple comments on this website recently and when I went into my LinkedIn Profile, I saw that my profile had been reviewed by a couple of people in Allstate Legal. Not sure if this is coincidence or not, but I left the Company last year. Why would they check me out when I'm no longer with Allstate?

they'd need a subpoena and unless you are threatening or causing harm there is no court in the country that would allow this.
Allstate Legal has much more info on you than Linked in.
The have direct access to everything you provided to Allstate and this include your Social Security Number, your detailed resume, work history, compensation, etc.
They have access to your company computer and everything you've done with ti.
WHY IN THE WORLD WHOULD THEY BE LURKING ON LINKED IN?
Just ask them if they are stalking you. See what the response is. Take a screenshot that proves they went on your LinkedIn and forward to HR to ask why they are so interested in your profile and that if they have any concerns they could just email you instead of lurking on your social media. Let them know you perceive this as harassment.
Technically, if this site can ban people based on their IP address, your IP address can be linked to your ISP. Information that could be subpoenaed. But why would they bother? The other thing is that I have no idea who controls this site.
They want you to see it. It's kinda like how the mob works. They think it's a scare tactic.
Think about this. How would anyone identify you? Why? What would they do with that information?
