Thread regarding SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. layoffs

Don’t Sign the Letter

Don’t sign anything and get an attorney. If you commented on, or liked any post or comment on a post that related in any way to the board or SR, you are on SR’s list of people to be let go. Back in June SR created a list of people who were not to be brought back from furlough based on their social media activity. This is illegal! If you think you might be on this list get an attorney. There are enough of you to create a class action lawsuit.

So some inside knowledge from a former IT staff that worked with Security. They can find out of people are going to certain sites, like this one if you are using the company internet connection. They do have an external company that scours social media for SeaWorld mentions and they actively track people, lol like Ocho Cinco for for some posts he made. I would not be surprised if the greedy SR SOB had an actual list. Now did he break a law? Nope, learn to keep your mouth shut on social media or learn to live with your comments biting you in the a–!!

Folks. The guy is worth 200 million dollars. He has better lawyers than you could ever hope to find. As somebody that was involved in past actions, believe me. It is frustrating and humiliating. You feel powerless and you know their process is wrong, even illegal. You’re not going to win a lawsuit. They’ve been through 20 of these. Details change but they’re all the same

You must have lots of money to pay for an attorney. You will have to give the attorney an initial retainer of around $2500 to $5000 to take the case because they won't take the case on contingency. You will also have to pay any additional costs as well. Then you have to deal with the company's attorneys who are on salary. Good luck getting the case designated as class action. You'll have to pay your attorney to represent you in getting that designation that as well.

How do you know that's true? Are you close to him. What proof do you have? I'm not saying I don't believe you but it's a bold statement.
