So the ones who were hired for telesales. Were there stores closed or are they still open. Trying to differentiate between those that needed a new position vs. those that have the option to go back to the store

I was hired on Friday to Telesales. I am a WFH Telesales Representative now. Those who applied should hear something this week. My interviewing Supervisor called. We start on the 20th, said I should hear from my new supervisor soon by email.

2 of the telesales wfh reps received an offer already. They start on September 20th. I also applied haven’t heard anything yet, I was also wfh telesales. They stilll haven’t ask to return my equipment so I’m being optimistic about it .

First off over 3k applied for telesales and interviews are still going on for about 900 slots. Many will recieve offers this week and they will not be reducing your current salary if you are an SS. Although you will have more opportunity in telesales there are plenty of negatives in making the change. Secondly who cares what color someone is that is offered the job. Telesales is no luxury job and most that will get the offer are ones that retail wants to get rid of. The interviews are just a smoke screen to a master plan. Retail stores want as many reps to go as possible.

It all depends if the telesales sup jobs were filled. When you interviewed you most likely interviewed with a recruiter and or a telesales sup, that won’t be your actual supervisor. Once they tele sales supervisor spot is filled he or she will pick reps based off the notes in your interview guide.

So people getting offered are either openings in an already established area, or it’s a new area and the telesales sup is building his or her team.

In south central they are still filling supervisor spots.

I also applied and had an interview over 2 weeks ago and nothing. However in my area 2 people got offers. I guess just by chance both of them are black. Talked to a friend in other state and in his store 1 got it.. also black..
