Dennis comes in and replaces Lee. Then Dennis starts pushing people out and bringing in his folks from DXE. Six people now?
Question is: Is bringing in all the new people with No job postings to existing employees, no notifications, no internal promotions to any of those "new" positions even legal?

You can file an ethics complaint for Nepotism! We had a manager try and pull that and several banded together and filed. Changes were then made!
Optdumb was a microcosm of the US
Its not ethical but they do not care and neither does HR. At a certain level they can do what they want and will basically get the blessing for carte blanche because they were brought in by someone with alot of power. In other words you are screwed if this is gonna impact you in some way.
Abuse of power. There is no way anyone can get away with something like that. Even if they tried to.cover it up or justify it, how are they going to do that?
UHC / Optum need to fix the curruption like this. This company can be great. All they leaders need to do is what is right and if doing right is too hard, then they are not leaders, they are just people who want the title and not the responsibility.
I'm sure they've come up with whatever loopholes they need. But this is typical Optum behavior. It's a total "all for one and one for one" kind of place with no aforethought in terms of how things affect employees in a very real way. Why work for a company that makes you question its legality/ethics?
No idea. But a call to the Ethics office may shed some light. It’s ridiculous.
