Just wondering how big they really get under PSR. Personally, I have had a 26,000 ton, 13,000 foot monster with over 200 cars. I know coal trains can get big in some places, but I am more interested in freight trains specifically. I also have had intermodal trains that had freight put on them and had to drop off before reaching final terminal.

UP steadily running 15000’ and larger.
246 cars ran out of Birmingham one time. Took forever to get pressure. Never seen anything like it since.
They will keep pushing the safety boundary until calamity strikes. Its an insane push for profit. But they will still try to nab you for some obscure safety rule., Pathetic isnt it.
Lol. It’s always funny when their big long trains block a crossing for too long and they get huge fines....... Not to mention, the train line leakage test is almost always falsified. But really, who cares about maintenance or safety? Jim Squires has already cashed out a good amount of his stock, if another Graniteville happens, he’ll just cash out the remainder before it hits the stock. What’s the worst that happens, a chlorine spill k–ls a couple thousand people in a highly populated area. As long as he can retain a $100+ million net-worth, he’ll have no problem sleeping at night.
