XOM drops to $25/ share in Feb 2021 due to failed dividend support and warm winter. Crude will also drop below $30/barrel for WTI due to slow economy and COVId re emergence. Vaccine will be too late to help those already infected.
Seriously.. will you own it still, seeing what we see today? I know several co-workers that sold away their position since January.. While we have seen Woods and Hansen buying.. I cannot help but question their intentions to display a show.. well that’s just my view..
Where is Lee Raymond when you need him?
Not strong enough reasons to keep it. I sold all of mine as the new management does not have credibility and has shown that their judgement on investments are flawed which resulted in the bad performance we are facing today. Past successes doesn’t guarantee future performance.. just look at how far we have fallen.. more then just oil prices to get this back on its feet
Motley Fool has been offering stock recommendations and investment advice since 1993. Over two decades later, they are still one of the largest financial media companies in the world. They are legit and their name is based on Shakespeare's comedy.
No comment on XOM stock, but never would I trust the name "Motley Fool" when it comes to my money. Like a bad joke. I do listen to their podcasts purely for entertainment though.
That's it, I am selling all my XOM stocks.
That's only three, and the same Motley Fool countered that will Fall From grace and doom and gloom for XOM stock (go to link). We'd borrow billions to pay dividends, not unless we start to sell some of our assets already, but that would make our PE ratio bad. XOM is threading on thin ice, that's for sure.
