Hello everyone. I applied to telesales and reviewed my interview a month ago. Interview went very well. I was told I would hear back in a couple weeks. Fast forward a month and I have yet to hear anything back yet. I know there is a start date of 9/20 and another round to start on 10/4. A co worker of mine applied after I did and also interviewed after I did and he received his offer to telesales via phone call a couple days ago. Does anyone have any info regarding this? Is it done in alphabetical order as far as calling back applicants who interviewed?

There were three people in my district offered the telesales job. They all accepted the offer but nobody knows when training starts. How is that for not being organized ? I get a kick how all these people think they are going to jump on the phones and make big money. They are all in for a rude awakening. Verizon is overstaffing telesales because they know a large amount will leave within a year because it’s not what they expected. This is part of a strategy to eliminate full time retail store employees.

They have already concluded the interview process. I know they have overshot the number of openings originally communicated but the goal is to get as many full timers out of the retail stores as possible. If you are not offered a telesales job by end of week then you are not getting in. All of this communicated from a telesales recruiter. Once all the new hires start it will be tough for anyone to make quota. This is how Verizon designed it.... no 2,3 or
