I have heard a couple of rumors that hundreds of people will be layoff in old OMCS (OCI). it was suppose to be happen in march already but delay and put into quaters (next part is scheduled next week). Nobody cares of projects seems so and load. Where is the future in Oracle then? who is going to care of migrations of customer to OCI?

OMCS went through the layoff cycle in Aug and latest was on 14th Sep with India round. So they have covered Layoffs in US, UK, Romania, Egypt and India. Approx 150 people were redeployed, around 100 were laid off
Not sure if its done for now or still would have another wave coming.
A part of OMCS teams have been moved directly under TW from PK
The OCS Delivery headcount just got re-org'd from AM's OCS team to the Cloud Engineering team. Sounds like they're going to be supporting free App migration services with every lift & shift deal. AM now only has the OCS Sales function, but he inherited, wait – are you ready for this – the Partners (Alliances & Channels) org! Please tell me how this will work... OCS and Partners competing for the same business within the same team?! facepalm...

The people who are left, what did you think?
A company who uses rolling layoffs to boost their bottom line never cares about how the work will get done. Not their problem, it’s YOUR problem.
