Just saw the official Ipdate. Stores will be closed o. Thanksgiving Day! ...but that doesn't mean a Midnight opening, sunce technically it would be the 27th. Who knows ...more to come!!!

For me, it's not about losing my job, it's about listening to my freaking boss's voice over and over b–ching me out... Getting fired would be a blessing.
If you don’t “volunteer” to work ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will happen to you That’s already been proven years prior. What happened to those who were no shoes for the shifts they selected to work. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. What has happened to anyone who didn’t show up on Black Friday? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. What has happened to anyone who doesn’t show up for shifts during Key Days. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. So don’t act like our jobs are at risk if we won’t pick up a thanksgiving day shift and or we don’t show up for it.
Curbside is already a nightmare.
Store managers voted on being closed and they have to make sales plan to make up for being closed.
I also agree with the other peeps. Negative Internet Trolls, Bitter Bettys and Sour Sallys BE GONE!!! Not just on this forum, but other social media outlets. Let's just be happy that Macy's is closed for in store shopping! SMH

Thank you Macy's for being closed on Thanksgiving Day! ....of course Fulfillment teams will be working, a lot of retailors are going to still have employees working that day doing doing picking etc. It's just like supermarkets, they are open. I agree with the previous poster, negative trollers be gone!!!
He didn’t say you won’t have to report to work on thanksgiving. He conveniently left those words out. He just said the stores will be closed to in-store customers. I believe he is going to have people report to work to fulfill orders! Don’t read what he said. Read into what he didn’t say.

I heard that they will be doing fulfillment and curbside pickup. I think curbside pickup will be a nightmare.
Don't hold your breath and count your chickens before they hatch. Our SM said some of us would be scheduled to come in on Thanksgiving to do fulfillment for online orders in anticipation of heavy business after Thanksgiving.
