Layoffs under wraps will be getting to the core of the last few professionals within the US based APTs. The last few years have been downsizing the teams to an unmanageable level, forcing attrition through unbearable US conditions while paying others in GEOs outside the US to stay put. Refactoring and layoffs to get to the rest. Time to run ladies and gents

'work from home' is morphing into 'work from home in another country', not just at Intel but businesses in general.
Are these layoffs happening in IT?
That is not surprising as out new CIO (You AD) believes that few of the rank and file and working, not delivering fast enough, or within projected timelines yet there is a tremendous shortfall of employees that don’t allow many timelines to be met. Hey more PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT. Intel is a lump of the former company it was, leadership lacks emotional intelligence to trust employees and feels some need to control them to the Nth degree. Work from home tracking software coming as key clicks is the better measure of productivity in their eyes.
Also, a lack of understanding that few individuals with great talents want to work here, that is the outcome of an environment you built.
