If you are applying for any of the jobs listed, don't bother, they got their people lined up for it. Now that is transparency, you don't even get an email, just completely ignore 🙄. Specifically minorities, you won't be a promoted in claims unless you are white. That is diversity with a kphilosophy

This appears to be true. I am overqualified for some of the postings and could not even get an interview.
It appears that “diversity” seems to have played a bigger part then performance during recent lay offs. Allstate needed and is focusing on inclusion look at the new legal and HR Officer hires.
Just how long has the OP been with Allstate? Maybe there were more whites in manager positions in the 80’s with the good old buddy system, but that has changed significantly.
And OP - ever stop to think maybe you weren’t qualified for the positions you applied for?
Seriously?!?! A lot of positions are now being posted externally because internals don't want the opportunity. Also, half my leaders are minorities so that is some bull
This is true. Normally they already have someone picked out for the roles and just post bc they have to. I had the same issue before w Allstate. They already know who getting what. I have applied to jobs all over the country. They haven't even looked at but 1, out of 12. Didn't call me, just sent denial email. Waste of time. Every position I have applied for outside of Allstate, I have second and third interviews for. Please bring it through Lord..
