These folks don't deserve 10+ million dollar TC packages. Just offshore em and let them buy back stock in india at 1/50 of the price. Just makes sense

A lot of high end companies do that, thin out the upper ranks to allow positions for the work-their-butt-off middle career types to fight their way into. But they pay those people out with F... you money. Some other companies just push them out when they get over 55-60, and they do it to the workers, not the execs.
I meant "It could have been tuned..." Like winking to the young folks who are happy to see the more experienced colleagues suffer this treatment. For once the new grads don't care - and also they hope to jump into these more senior roles and maybe get a raise.

I cant stand their babbling of nonsense buzzword-bingo... What they actually say so often means just nothing. Or like some cruel jokes. "The future career solution delivery will be adjusted for local legal requirements" - what is that even supposed to mean ? As" the layoff solution will be delivered to the workforce" ? And the joke cracking "lets have fun" tone of all this check-in meetings... Throwing up big time :-/
