My imagination or are most of those let go non-Indians? Is there a bigger 'outsource' plan in the works??

I work in an office and had two emails right after the layoff dealing with IT. Both of the emails had many with Indian names and their emails for this ticket we needed done. RJ outsourced many jobs. Guaranteed. Hope you guys know that the ENTIRE computer system went down the day after you guys were horribly shown the door. There was a teeny bit of karma in that. Took them several days to get the system back up. Reilly blamed it on Oracle. Nothing worked. Not even Client Access. Then the phone system went down. Makes me wonder if someone planted a worm.
And sorry about the outsourcing, but I have the emails to prove it. RJ outsourced work to India to try to save money. I know another firm that did that and it was horrible.
For those that were older and let go, I'd seriously talk to an attorney. Even if you signed a "non-lawsuit" clause under duress at the threat of withholding severance.
I left the company years ago, when an old lady came to run the QA department, she outsourced the entire dept to Allied, an outsource firm. I feel for you, this used to be a good place, family oriented. Now, is nothing but the bottom line, numbers, outsourcing and full of BS
In AMS they let go of 76% of the Indian cognizant team. So I think any outsource plans are on hold.
RJ has been slowly weeding out the older family members for the last 5 years or so. Corona just gave them an opportunity to weed out a bunch all at once.
Actually it appears that in IT at least the majority of folks who were let go we the more mature, long-term associates. Kept the young, out with the old. Very sad.
that's some racist b—s— and I hope you were first to go
