Worth 8 times what TDC is. Go snowflake.

MakeTDsexy and the highest valuation of TD was..... 6b. Take the package, you need to
Great point MakeTDsexy. Why would anyone buy TD? All I can think of are the patents. Product? Not in the cloud. Workforce? Knows mostly the product and DWH but 50% would know little about k8s and Azure/GCP/AWS. Logo? Deloitte has the same one. fORum? there is internet. Tesla videos? These were good but there is Netflix.
A note about valuation. Saying SNOW post IPO is worth 70 billion, does not make it WORTH 70 billion. No more than my baseball card collection from the 90s is WORTH $300...I think it is, Becket says it is, but until I find a buyer...it's just a number...and a lofty one at that. Back to SNOW, it does not mean SNOW now has 70 billion in liquid assets (cash) to go buy anything and shut it down. Financially, SNOW is valued for it's future earnings potential, and vastly overvalued at that after the stellar IPO launch. So stellar, it's the most overpriced software stock out there by a mile...expect to see it so sub 100 in the following weeks as profits get taken and investors take a harder non-hype look. What is the PE ratio? They don't have one, because their earnings are negative, they are not yet a profitable company. They don't have the cash, or equity, to leverage an acquisition the size of TD...not even close. Could they in 2-3 years, if they continue to sell and perform as projected...possibly, but for now, a merger would be the only method (vs acquisition)...and sadly TD has not created anything new in 40 years to make anyone want what we have. The key to success for TD either via its own steam, or via M&A, is to turn the tech into something truly revolutionary that changes the game. Chasing cloud is about as effective as literally chasing clouds.
Do you realize that snowflake can buy TD, shut it down, pay for the migrations for all existing TD customers and that wouldn't even be 10% of its valuation. Don't blame Bain, blame people like NH and VL
Valuation is pointless until the stock IPOs and settles in...so you are talking out of your a–, and you should learn to grammar check...maybe invest in grammarly instead?
Teradata has had very bad management for many years - no vision or leadership. The results show.
Teradata is a bad management and leadership story - otherwise how else can you explain an acquisition like Aprimo!
If you really believe it, go all-in on TD today, i am sure u will be super uber happy with your results
What's worse is TDC never had the valuation of Snowflake.
