There will 100% be layoffs in CCB Digital, inclusive of NY metro. Not clear how many...maybe "only" 5% or so, but there is absolutely a Digital layoff list that the execs have. It's been around for weeks, but changes are still being made. I've heard some managers have been asked to nominate people from their teams for the list. The timing of notices going out I've heard is mid to late September.
Has there been any news on this? Considering that it's mid September...
In a conference call yesterday, Mary Anne Lake said that (paraphrasing) "the routine quarterly reduction in force efforts, which were paused during Covid, have been reactivated".
It's never just a single sector that's impacted - we go through this multiple times a year. All sectors are reviewed for cuts that can be made - whether your department has any when the time comes is always an unknown.

Be careful age will creep up on you too, oh and next time you are online in Starbucks, look around at how many JPAM in their 20's are there too while the 40+ are at their desks.
