Why isn’t Chris Calio formally communicating this to employees instead of the rumor mill and having it hit the media first? With it “leaked out” now, does this mean WARN act is in effect and the thirty days starts now?

The WARN act is employee specific. Not a general lay-off is gonna happen thing on my site. If you get laid off the severance should be at least 60 days of pay then you r released immediately. It’s 60 days of notice and u still work or 60 days of pay and end of employment. WARN act can be over ridden if a company is in dire financial straits but I think RTX is currently sound financially.
