EA's had a town hall mtg yesterday. Looks like another round of last year is happening again this year. Opt in to leave or retire early or wait and see if you are cut. Either way you get a severance package. Cuts will happen before mid October 2021. Basically, thank you for showing us how we can save money and work people harder from home. We will now restruncture and save. Meanwhile they will create virtual admin pools in Phoenix and Orlando for tax breaks and cheaper salaries...oh what did they say??? For people with lower cost of living...again thank you for doing a great job working remotely and teaching us how to save money.lol
My mom was an EA at KPMG and she was let go after 8 years with the company. The timing is, as many said already, very bad.
Layoff happening at KPMG for Executive Assistants. Positions are going to an all virtual model, about 300 jobs are being cut.
What commitment did the CEO ever make about layoffs?
Our office was told of layoffs 9/15, a two week notice is all they received. I guess the CEO is leaving, so her word means nothing.
