Employee survey questions:

  1. Are you comfortable with death?
  2. Is your life insurance up to date?
  3. Have you fully taken advantage of the Fidelity HSA so that you have plenty of cash saved up for paying the deductible under our high deductible health plan?
  4. How do you feel about ventilators? Ever wanted to try one?
  5. Are you comfortable interacting with others who may be ill unbeknownst you?
  6. Are your vaccinations up to date? (Woops - there isn't one!)
  7. How do you feel about participating in an uncontrolled experiment to achieve herd immunity?
  8. Does it bother you to be treated like a herd animal, such as a cow, pig or sheep?
  9. On a the following scale, how concerned are you that MRO may be underutilizing leased space for which it has already paid? 0 (not concerned at all)… 0 (still not concerned at all)
  10. Are you fully satisfied that you have taken all from life that it has to offer?
  11. Have you spent too much time with your spouse, children, parents, pets and just want to check on out of this old world?

And finally, the most important questions of all:

  1. Would any of your answers change if you knew it could be your spouse, kids, aged parent or other loved one who died or spent a month on a ventilator?
  1. Would any of your answers change if you realized that MRO will cut you loose without a severance package at the first scent of a further downturn?

My boss said no office moves either and that we'd just keep calling into meetings or messaging each other from our offices. "Too expensive to have everyone move floors."

People are testing + for covid who come to the tower and Marathon is not letting others who have been in the tower know. You have to find about it through word of mouth. It's very scary. There is no plan or guidance on returning if you reported you've tested +. You can come back as soon as you feel fine. They aren't sending people who have been around others who have tested + in the office to quarantine at home. If they bring people in for "Phase 2" it's going to be a breeding ground for covid. The survey basically says you qualify to come back for phase 2 if you don't have kids. Isn't that discrimination? Why would you penalize people or ask them to risk their mortality because they don't have school age kids? Returning should be a personal choice.

They're wanting people to get back to the office b/c they're still paying the lease on it "in these trying times"–they want something for their money. Common cents.

Maybe they’re getting heath and safety advice from Dr. Stella Immanuel? She seems pretty easy going about these things.

What’s the current plan? (Has to miss the call.)

On top of that no in person meetings and trace contacting when you're there. Why are they so obsessed with getting people back in the office? What is the point of bringing people together if we're still having to do everything through skype?
