It is horrible how long you must wait to talk to employee services! There are still colleagues still suspended, colleagues who have questions about their employment, and colleagues who have other questions. Taking some form of HR out of the stores was a bad move by Macy's. Where is the concern for the employees. Our managers don't know and so unhappy with their jobs. AST doesn't know and dislike their positions. So instead if building a teams win attitude, they are creating low morale with an unhappy workforce! I hope some of the senior leaders read this and go into the stores to see what is happening.

Some employees that worked at the store for a long time shared knowledge and information to help others out. They are probably gone too.
Macy’s made a bad move eliminating HR in stores
They are setting themselves for some major lawsuits just to save a few cents
It is a disgrace what is happening!
My position was also eliminated, and I was placed on hold for 1-1/2 hours before someone answered the phone. It is a shame to wait that long and still not connected to someone who could help. We are on our own.
Stores are not clean and very unhealthy! Enforcing masks is not happening but no one cares about the employees only the bottom dollar What a shame
When I call other companies customer service, etc., I am usually placed on hold but not as long as I am on hold for Macy’s HR or credit services. I was laid off and I get some help and information from here.
