I think Johnny Cash, San Quentin is the perfect theme song for Macys!
Scary how a Cher song actually applies.
No matter how hard I try
You keep pushing me aside
And I can't break through
There's no talking to you
It's so sad that you're leaving
It takes time to believe it
But after all is said and done
You're gonna be the lonely one
Do you believe in life after macys
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think I'm strong enough, no
Do you believe in life after macys
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough
What am I supposed to do
Sit around and wait for you
Well I can't do that
And there's no turning back
I need time to move on
I need love to feel strong
Cause I've got time to think it through
And maybe I'm too good for you
Do you believe in life after macys
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough
Do you believe in life after macys
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough
Well I know that I'll get through this
'Cause I know that I am strong
I don't need you anymore
I don't need you anymore
I don't need you anymore
No I don't need you anymore
Do you believe in life after macys
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough

I love that I get a sell the toaster oven. The one I unloaded from the 40 foot container. That one I placed on a pallet. That one I moved to the sales floor. That one I placed in the stock room. Then Merchandised on the selling floor using our directives. Then made the sign for and adjusted for the weekend advertised price. Then sold using M.A.G.I.C. And got Macy money for capturing a Star Reward. : )
I love that I gave my all to my job every day. I love that I worked EVERY time they called me in with no notice, always helped customers even while doing a support job, and always did my job with a smile on my face. I love that I got dumped while on furlough for seemingly no reason. I love that I now have a job with another company where I am appreciated, make a fair wage and take pride in what I do! There is life after Macy's people. RUN! Find another job. Get out of that place.
I love being treated like a criminal by loss prevention. But in my store they did it to everyone!
I love the workers I used to work with
What a silly question! Just love the fact this is all happening and creating an opportunity for everyone to find other jobs. Look at the big picture, life after Macy's is GREAT!
I love my coworkers. Even though 50-60% of them were laid off
Me too! Now I received my severance pay and I will retire in about 7 months with Medicare and social security! What perfect timing!
I love that I’m not there anymore.
