LEADERSHIP

What is Leadership at Collins?
Hayes left to take over the merger of Raytheon! Correct ? after the blundering mess of the Collins merger with UTC. Leaving himself in a steeler position not to be effected by his poor performance in the past . A company top heavy with over paid managers and under educated engineers , over lapping positions to include Competing manufacturing locations. COVID was not the true reason that several locations have scaled back , the merger with Raytheon was the cause for this huge blow back and nobody wanted to tell the employees any different , this calculated secluded separation was know before the close of the merger, COVID was just a means to the end of the commercial aircraft business, I have seen this in the past with Acquisitions In the past, I will almost bet that a spin-off of the commercial division has been in the works but COVID slowed down the stock trades for a sell off .

Leadership at Collins is non-existent, absent. So many people in director positions that should not be because of lack of education, no college degree and they do not know what they are doing. Dragging the team down and the company. No leadership experience equals poor outcomes. They are always going to save themselves. I hope in the end they get canned too.

I see Collins named a new CFO this week and erased pretty much any mention of the former CFO, who had that role for many years. Typically when someone of that stature leaves, a press release is issued, including the introduction of the replacement.

I wonder what is going on over there.

Nice reply , why not be honest with the employees about the merger and restructuring! so the hard workers can do what is best for themselves and their families , their loyalty was spat on , they worked their rotating furloughs thinking this would help while behind the doors strategic moves for the company‘s best interest were being made . In the mean while the struggling workers were praying for COVID to end ,when in actuality they were going to be cut anyway. When will the second wave hit?

RTX's commercial divisions are not in a spin off. They will still be around, yes I agree that restructuring was going to happen and covid helped. Guess what? Defense is being restructured too
