I’m hearing rumors of a massive layoff coming soon. Anyone know if it’s true? Or who will be affected?

Trimming will continue until this whole COVID-19 debacle is behind us. As long as its still fueling fear of even stepping out of your house, every company is going to need to adjust their cost to stay afloat in these trying times.
Don’t know about “massive”, but there will be more jobs trimmed away this quarter - RIFs will be announced in mid August for jobs ending in mid Sept.
Covid-19 leads Honeywell to cut workforce 8.8% and look for acquisition opportunities.
Honeywell International Inc. has laid off at least 9,929 people worldwide in its “repositioning” in the wake of the recession from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Article is paywalled.
I’m HPS but I think it was global reduction. Not just one unit.
They have additional $200 million of cost savings to go, announced in q2 earnings report. A 10k RIF would far exceed that number. Probably not true
The 10 already happened. That was the sum across HONEYWELL. It was announced during Darius town hall. More to come in 3 and 4Q

They will keep 2-3 employees per site. That way they have someone to blame when they can’t make shipments. How dare they not work 112 hours a week.....
Nah... 100,000 RIF in a few weeks. Everyone but management.
No evidence of that in aero at the moment.
What Business unit?
