Pretty simple. We all have lives outside of Verizon and need to be able to request specific days off like we used to. Where is the flexibility that was promised? This is very aggravating. And no part time is not the answer. Stop pushing that scam down our throats.

All you have to do is mark yourself unavailable for the days you need off as day off no pay so when the auto scheduler kicks in you will get that day off
@1xfy+16fx8WXM Think ahead, they’re making the schedule standardized to eliminate the need for a GM. They can run express stores with an AM and Lead rep easily. It’s all about cutting costs and that means you and your coworkers will be cut.
Not all managers will work with you on a day off. Often times it can lead to guilt shaming or an out right blanket refusal. Just put day off no pay in the tool. No reason to “talk” to a manager about it. If too many people have requested it, it will be denied. Make scheduling easy and non confrontational.
I don't understand this supposed issue with getting a day off. I work in Retail in the Great Lakes market and if I need a day off with no pay, I ask my manager with at least a couple of weeks notice and it gets approved. The only reason it would be declined is if someone else is out on vacation or someone has requested that day off before I did. Even then, there are times where multiple reps can be off the same day and they still have enough reps to man the store for that day.
Then why not just let the app take care of that? We were told this is to take away schedule making from the GM and make it more standardized and fair.... But now instead of having to request off a day. I email my GM on the DM and does me a solid? Sounds standard And fair...
For the racist comment: it doesn’t matter what race, s-xual preference, religion or anything else the media try’s to divide us with. The fact of the matter is it all about globalism and Verizon, specially on the network site, has singled out targeted and ran off all the Americans. It’s not a racist comment just a fact.
Why are there so many racist f—s here on this site? Everything is not always about race, even with Verizon and their mind-numbing addiction to constant change.
Bring back day off no pay
This is why H-1Bs from India have taken over VZ. They work like slaves 24/7 because their lives really DO depend on it! You can't compete against slave labor.
