Guy - its been confirmed throughout Pratt commercial that there are going to be substantial cuts. Calio has confirmed it, Deurloo has confirmed it.... all the major departments have been communicating to their people that there will be cuts. The unconfirmed number being tossed around is anywhere from 10 to 20%

These points are not mutually exclusive, i.e. depending on how you define talent most workers 45 and older are the ones with the experience and know-how. Also, if a pattern emerges that PW targeted workers over 40 (forget 45), then there could be an age discrimination problem. The age problem Pratt has is that it's heavy on each of the far ends of the spectrum - too many aged workers that are going to retire soon and too many wet-behind-the-ear youngsters.
