The benefits are already lousy, but then the discount on the product that we provide is garbage. 1% off insurance? Seems very few Allstate employees actually have Allstate for insurance, quite a reflection on the company.

Could the discount vary depending on the state? I get a pretty good discount off my insurance.
scc+16h6Lygj, lived in multiple states and always tried to get Allstate. Their discount has never been close to 5%.
I am a employee, but I have Geico. Nobody can beat their rate..
Not one person in my entire office has Allstate even with the discount
Now never!!
Actually 5% not 1%
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of employees who do not have Allstate as their carrier. There are/were hundreds of Regional employees, including management and Directors, who did not have Allstate as their carrier. There are agents and LSP's who do not have Allstate as their carrier. And then there are the people who believe that you own what you sell and they get a big thank you only Allstate spells it differently.
I did not even know employees got a discount. I dropped Allstate years ago because it was too expensive.
I never switched. I came from the shops and knew their product was garbage. Always use the cheapest, junk parts, argue about every tenth of an hour and pay the lowest in the industry on ACV's. While Allstate does utilize the CCC product for valuations they also have complete control over the deductions and conditioning ratings. I continually dealt with customers that had other insurance companies involved, every single time the other carrier came back with a higher ACV, even the "discount" carriers.
