Absolutely not true!
Did you get these numbers from CNN?

That's in Indian rupees not US dollars.

I think someone is fishing. No recruiter would give that information out, especially for that number of roles.

False!

"Oci rsus is the new club to join - but from the outside."

Those numbers are still absurd even for OCI Seattle. That recruiter must be fantasizing that ORCL stock will magically appreciate 100% in the next year to make those total comp numbers including RSUs remotely plausible. ORCL hasn't appreciated much in three years, and it's gonna start circling the toilet bowl soon enough. Anyone stupid enough to leave the AMZN B-team for ORCL RSUs deserves what's coming to them. AMZN is up 76% over one year. ORCL is up ...

wait for it ...

  1. 08%

SO MUCH WINNING!

Sorry, I posted earlier but tried to make sure that I wasn't lying. This entry seems to confirm what I thought - oci Seattle is a different beast: https://www.rooftopslushie.com/request/Oracle%20Cloud%20OCI%20Offer%20-%20IC-3%20-%20Seattle-1731
The base pay is somewhat above average, but it's the rsus that drive the package into the stratosphere. These are much more freely given it at Seattle HQ. So total comp does fall into line with what op posted. I sympathize with the dedicated Oracle devs who have been working hard for so many years. But the sad reality of our profession in the big corps is the you have to keep moving jobs to get the big increases. Oci rsus is the new club to join - but from the outside.

Have been working as software engineer for almost 30 years at oracle and salary was around $110k and have not got a raise for 10 years.

Former M4 in Prod Dev. About half would be reasonably accurate for HQ-based engineers, PMs and dev managers. Can’t comment on OCI in SEA or elsewhere.

Not true where I was. I was an IC4 making a little over half of what is listed here.

I think those are close. Oci Seattle office-based. It's why you have all the B-team players at Amazon and Azure making the jump to a position and salary with equity that they would never make otherwise. Right from CM on down.

Half of that.

Not even close. Somebody's dreaming. Cut those numbers in half.

You can put your full faith in that recruiter, both now and when looking for your next job after Oracle!

that's a dream median salary for oracle. it's way too high. and stock options are not give to everyone. only to the rich.

Way to high for Oracle, even with addition of stock options.

For OCI this might be accurate, but it’s high for the rest of Oracle.

WAY off!

I will concur, these figures are WAY off. I was a solution designer, I made a little more than half that,

Those numbers are absurd. Cut 30-50% off them for a more realistic ballpark.

Lies. Not even half of those numbers.

I don't know how accurate are the information posted.
I know 3 manager who left Oracle in 2018 to other companies because the pay was not good enough, one of them became supervisor. A manager leaves a company to another one for financial gains.
I worked in Oracle for 3 years, and I know that I was paid less than my peers in google, Microsoft, or Amazon.
