I am in LDU Charlotte. I just got an important meeting email for 3 today. Did anyone else get this? I wonder what type of meeting it is. I am shaking now.

I am in California and just decided to take the layoff for fear that the company was going to do exactly what they are doing to everyone.. unfortunately I do not think this is the last hoorah.. THis is just the beginning of alot more BS at this place. They say once national general is incorporated they will not move positions out of Cali but they have proven to be complete liars. I remember they told us not to worry when they built the office in AZ and said its just to support California and then all of a sudden we were given a choice to l to move to AZ or take a layoff. And if you told them youd move they gave you like a day to start working in AZ. Im kind of glad for the covid crisis since its forcing the government to provide better unemployment benefits.. but Allstate.. what can I say laying off everyone during a global shut down and pandemic.. heartless.. Karma will come back at em somehow.
Being laid off would be a blessing in disguise. I am so tired omg this lay off BS! They had several ppl move from CA to AZ so they wouldn’t be laid off and we’re still having to deal with this? I’m over it.
Manager advised this morning we are getting assessments tomorrow and the meeting for that is 2pm ct

Commercial and Express has a cal at 3 CST, I think they are safe. I have a call at 2 CST, I assume I am getting an assessment. I think the earlier call is a job elimination.
There's also a 2 o'clock meeting Eastern Time. That would be the safe group, I think.
Everyone be sure to look at the time zone for your meeting so you won’t miss it.
This just messed up my whole day. I dont know what it is. I been reading the boards, are they going to say we are getting fired. Am I gone. Well at least the suspense would be over. Who all got the meeting. Scary..
Word on the street is 2pm central is assessment and 3pm central is safe but that’s all conjecture

Just lay us off already. We all got it. “Rumors” on this page keep coming true. 14-4, many offices will be closing, those who stay will forever be miserable and swamped with more work than humanly possible to complete. This company is the worst heartless example of crony capitalism.
