We are one Allstate family!

We will do everything we can to help you in another job within Allstate. We will compensate you well and fairly. These decisions do not come lightly. Many hours and days have been spent to weigh and decide the best for everyone. We have your best interests in minds and we will do good by you. You are our Allstate family and always will be. We take care of our family and will help you apply and be placed into an open spot if best qualified and if not we will take care of you and your families until your next endeavor and journey begins. We are here for you! Best to all and proud of you all.

I'd like to just say that as someone fairly new, this experience has taught me what "the Allstate way" means and I want no part of it. You can keep your recognition and awards for my hard work with a three percent petty raise and your PTO. After this, those things are not enough to keep me.

You guys are vile and deceptive and I do not trust that my role is truly safe by any means. Time to search for a job.

What a load of C-ap! If you believe “we are one Allstate family”, I have a bridge for sale.

Don’t believe this, I have been in areas that have went through this before.... the help they provide is minimal and laughable....

Then answer how someone individuals that are not effective in their roles are safe? Oh yes, they are at lower levels. I agree that it a general sense the comments are accurate but Senior leadership really doesn’t know what is happening on the front line or within HO.

Stop saying you’re trying to place people in other jobs. Tom said we are eliminating thousands of jobs to save money. We are not creating jobs. For every new job posted there will be around 150 eliminated.

Now I see they are ‘disliking’ our posts the last hour. Because that’s going to sway people from posting LOL. Go back to bed Tom & Glenn

What kind of 'family' eliminates entire divisions and forces arbitrary assessments on its 'members'? (Isn't it the kind they have survival groups for?)

Shills are up late tonight. what's it, 11 PM there? or maybe you have some of borderline slaves in Pune posting scripts. either way, shoo shoo. you have no place here. this is for the workers to share information you chose to withhold and a place for the affected to vent. shill in Outlook inboxes.

Look at this corporate butt kiss

This is the most unethical and greedy company out there. I’ve been Embarrassed for years working here.

You know what? If this is the company , thank you . In between all this change , i wouldn’t have stayed 10 years If it was an awful place to work. I’d I go I go . I’ve got more skills and have job interviews lined up than when i started, and I haven’t even assessed yet. Guess what ? I got those skills from a place that took care of me and my family for 10 years. Those that want to bash go right on ahead . I stand behind what I say .

This was incredibly insulting. We aren’t your family. We are expendable to you. This is an abusive relationship where we wake up in the hospital and you tell us you love us. How about you cut Tom’s salary? You guys didn’t think about that at all, huh? After all your hard thinking. Gimme a break. You don’t care about the heart and soul of this company which are its people. The people who have worked for years, some for decades, to better this company because WE care - you don’t. I’m sure you’ll sleep easy on your stacks of money. I hope both sides of your pillow are warm.

Years ago that was true, but the only way we’re family these days is a highly dysfunctional, abusive one. Everything about how this has been handled, including the timing, has been anything but caring.

You didn’t care of “your family” when you allowed “leaders” to abuse their staff while turning a blind eye. No, instead you rewarded them with bonuses made off the backs of others. You have balls posting this!

“We take care of our family and will help you apply and be placed into an open spot if best qualified and if not we will take care of you and your families until your next endeavor and journey begins”

I really want to believe this. The waiting for months to figure out what to do, if like me you like your job here, then how do we believe it. The anxiety builds and some just explode. I am not that way but I too am frustrated that I turned down an offer a year ago, recieved a raise and then now I will be assessed. I am logical and business minded so I get what's happening but I am human and the waiting is really stressful. Not much could be said, if anything at all , to tame it or take it away. 6 to 8 weeks to wait for an answer but no info on the assessment, even though it could maybe help us in our next venture is like a puzzle missing a piece and saying oh well this is a work of art or oh well throw it away. It's confusing and frustrating. This all feels like we are talking to brick walls so we lash out on this site where others feel the same way. May not be proper but where else should we talk it out , our kids or stressed spouses thinking how will we pay for bills and Christmas since thats the time frame at this point? I personally would have rather just been laid off now or safe, this kind of transparency is mean and psychologically troubling.

Highly questionable announcing the assessments the next day after announcing how the company made 1 billion in profits. How much money is enough money? Claim volume is going up. Allstate taking on direct business which will be even more work. Lastly, why can’t each work group be given an approximate number of people being let go. The number doesn’t have to be set in stone and could be more or less. It’d give a majority of people either peace of mind versus an entire company’s morale at 0 right now. It’s affecting work product, quality and timeliness.

I’ll remember that when I’m ringing the bell outside Tiffany’s this Xmas and helping your wife load thousands of dollars in Xmas gifts into her Land Rover while I freeze my cajones off trying to get little Jimmy a pair of socks for the holidays and pay my electric bill . Night night Glenn and Tom.
