As someone who has worked with Allstate for almost 20 years as an attorney the CRs I work with work their asses off and the best are the ones with the most seniority ... they know the game and all the players ...the company is F** ked if they reduce their claims staff... we will be hemorrhaging severity dollars .. they are maxed out as it is . My thoughts and prayers are with my Claims Partners as they go through this

Where is all the 50% and 7k numbers coming from?
So glad I retired in 2019 after 31 years!! I knew bad changes were coming down the road for claim reps. This company did care about its employees many many years ago but within the last 10-12 years, you’re just a body at a desk. Workload was ridiculous with many people working 7 days a week and on their vacations just to try and keep their heads above water. Mastering the art of staying under the radar fared better for those who could. If you did something wrong or made a mistake, you felt like you had a target on your back. Low morale, average pay, lousy health benefits and management teams that just don’t give a damn about you. I feel for the employees I worked with. Get out if you can, while you can. It’s not going to get better!!
Where did you here they were reducing us 50%
Just wait when those who get to keep their jobs get handed pending from those employees laid off plus incoming claims . It’s going to be a train wreck .
Thanks ...can’t believe they are going to reduce claims staff by 40-50%. They’re counting on the liability tool , quick photos so India can handle the easy stuff, Virtual assist to reduce field staff. It’s a gamble they’re willing to take yo reduce millions in payroll.
Just wondering if Allstate has been attempting to find "dirt" on people's files in an attempt to fire or "unload" as many as possible?
Each and every competitor pays more and treats their employees better.
This is insulting to the long time loyal employees.
There are stars and incompetents in every generation, and if you think this changes because of your birth year, you're a few standard deviations short of the mean.
Thanks, and I'm not sure i want to be around to deal with more stress and work when most of us are already burnt out with the workload.
