Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Who's pushing all of these negatives?

So who's paying to pump all of these negatives around the board? They are everywhere now, all companies. They overwhelm any legitimate discussion between the actual users.

The answer to your question is that HPE is paying us to distribute negative information... with our severance packages! 😉

I had high hopes when Antonio got the job. Thought he was one of us. Long term loyal employee with an engineering back ground gets the top job. Turns out he’s just the boards puppet.

If you are referring to the down votes. Likely Antonio and Hotards minions. They are trying to cover up their failures. When an embarrassing thread pops up they add a bunch of propaganda threads to push the the relevant ones down the list. Damage control.

The comments are negative about HPE because there is a lot to be negative about HPE. We are talking about a company that lays off on a regular basis, as if it is a normal business practice.

Why would you think that someone is paying for that? Is everyone supposed to put on a happy face?

I guess people need an outlet.

There are people posting here whose focus seems to be on stock values, as if by posting here they are somehow trying to influence market sentiment. It is kind of weird, and these people could certainly find better outlets. But, that being said;

People who are content, or don't feel an immediate threat of layoffs probably don't spend much time on a layoff based website. So the nature of the website is that you a have a demographic of people who have been terminated or are at a company that is considering layoffs.

There is an obvious sense of injustice when in most cases people higher up at the company tend to receive out-sized compensation while front line workers are let go with little to show for it.

And lastly, the economic picture is not great. Anyone disputing this probably hasn't got a good grip on the current business environment.

So, why would you expect anything other than fairly negative sentiment?
