In the past, we would get our schedule 2 weeks ahead plus the current week. We were able to have some sort of idea when our days off will be. It gave us the opportunity to make doctor appointments or things we need done. As it is right now, we get our schedule either the Friday or Saturday for the next week. It would be nice to have it at least one week in advance. We do have a life outside of Macy's.

My manager asks me which service I attend. Is it morning, afternoon or night? Therefore, I can still work on Sunday.
How is Macy's deciding how you practice your religion?
Perhaps you need to speak to your manager and let them know your needs since they are doing the schedules for the time being
Have you asked? Been vocal about it? You can utilize unavailable days, you get 3 a month.....
I really am tired of the "silent complainers" Come on a message board and complain about it but I doubt you have done anything to rectify your situation.
Yes I never know if I'm working Sunday until Friday as well. I go to church and you have to reserve a spot right not because of covid and it makes it hard to know which service. I hate how Macy's decides how I may practice my religion.
We have Schedules through August 26th. Also our Store Manager does not do our schedules, AST does them.
We use our insite tools ( unavailable days, PTO, and put in ouravailability ) when they fill in Schedules they can see this in scheduling System and it won't be able to Schedule u on those days.
It varies by store. Since the Store Mgr does all the colleague scheduling, it is now-and will contiue to be-at their convenience. DMET no longer exists, so all your schedule requests, PTO, etc need to be put in writing to him/her. To the extent possible, utilize your Insite tools to swap or advedtise your shifts for other matters.
I have my schedule through August 26.
Absolutely unacceptable to not know on Friday if you are scheduled for a Sunday. Where is the work life balance they talk about? Macy’s is not the only thing in a person’s life.
