Do you think there will be more information regarding 2020 lay offs in the town hall on Thursday?

Wow, the prior post about the exec promotions was completely taken down. Maybe HR does monitor this.

DM was promoted to Global Chief of GI. He is PZ's relative.

The other two exec promotions today included friends of PZ. One was a former exec at Accenture Consultants. You know, the same company AIG is paying millions to today.

Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt......only words to describe this company.

"David McElroy, currently President and Chief Executive Officer of the North American operations of General Insurance, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer, General Insurance, and Executive Vice President, AIG, effective immediately"

For those of us who've already gotten the boot and have no idea who was promoted today, who was promoted today please?

It is possible @rmp+16q2fGSt . Tell your manager and manager's manager that you'd like to volunteer and they'll get your name on the next list and delay someone else's.

Why don't they ask for volunteers? They think people can't to stay and take on more assignments. No I want to go

How else can you promote a relative to CEO position during shrinking topline period?

It will take a couple of weeks to figure out how many people to rif to make up for the 3 exec promotions that were announced today. As soon as that happens the rifs will resume. Accenture is putting the list together.

Take a paid vacation, work slow half days. Don't k–l yourself for this place.

It is a given that more cost reductions are coming so focus on your next move. Get your ducks in a row. Your AIG workload will still be there tomorrow.

I am quite sure there will be layoffs next week. It usually follows the hiring of more Senior Management, otherwise known as relatives or friends of BD and PZ. Wake up friends. The Leaders are ripping this company off at the expense of the workers.
