Jamie will have to leap over Sabee and Lal to get to the top.

Jamie is a good guy and would be a great successor.

Lol. It’s not Jake Fritz. It’s Jamie Froedge. Good guy.

How is Jake Fritz in the running for CEO?!?! Isn't he the IT head?

I agree. Farr is not a decent human being. No one dares to tell him that. You will be fired in a heartbeat. Everyone is fearful of losing their job. No candor at Emerson because of Farr.

It’s not Lal. Farr made it clear in some private conversations. It’s JF.

JF...? I don't see that happening. Why do you feel he's the front runner? I just know that Lal has been involved in very private discussions with Farr. Talking to my counterparts, Ram is furious and has been acting even more like a loose cannon given ISV's performance.

His thirst for 2% milk was too much for the company to accommodate.

Oh do tell. . . As for JF, agree. He was the rumored lead awhile back while the rest were fighting it out.

Bob was given the chance to resign. That’s true but better to keep the reason private.

Farr has made it clear that Lal is not THE chosen one. It’s someone else. It’s JF.

That’s more than what he did for others. In the end, you reap what you sow.

Bob Sharp was fired but given the opportunity to resign and leave "gracefully." Per the latest political rumors Lal is the man who will win the CEO role and Ram is beyond p-ss-d and is scheming with his cronies to push Lal out.

All that will be left is a trail of destruction...

Consider yourself lucky. At least with the others you know what they are. BS was simply auditioning for the job he wanted.

@4wni, why do you say that? I work on the Auto Sol side and always thought Bob seemed like the better option but never worked with him directly

It was long overdue, in my opinion, and the only good decision that I’ve seen from this bunch in awhile.

Isn't this just a grand experiment where a frat house runs an oil business until the well runs dry? Eventually, the cream always rises to the top. You can't keep putting people on the 'hi pot' list because they are white males that play golf with you, real competition will catch up, people with sharp minds. Goodnight Irene, you had a good run.

Farr won’t go unless he is fired by the board but he appoints the board members. So, they won’t fire him unless his indiscretions is shown to the public.

He was asked to leave by the most egoistical CEO of all time who refused to acknowledge that he failed as a CEO and is still clinging on. He kept saying he will retire soon, in two years. Next year, it will be in two years....

Farr doe not want anyone who could succeed him.

Sudden departure because of ethics issue. However, double standards by Farrk because he did not ask Nyquist and Button Bell to leave.
