Please read the severance pay plan. It mentions the company has 60 days AFTER your last day to receive severance. Leadership has been implying we'll get it our last day or last pay check.

Severance is 2 weeks for every year up to one year paid in 1 lump sum
The package is posted on the internet under HR and benefits

They are laying off way more than 100 people imo

That's why I am confused as to how much money they are saving by laying people off. If they lay off say 100 tenured people..that's 100 one years worth of salaries they have to pay.
