They say they are "One of the Premier Railroads" but no one is fooled- this company is ALWAYS last place! They lag behind the industry in technical innovation, operating ratios, customer service, employee relations, ect. But the love to toot that horn about how they want to be a "tech company that runs trains". WTF??!!! NS is a FREIGHT RAILROAD that uses technology. That statement of theirs shows just how delusional they are! CEO recently came out with his statement about the company at the 2Q earnings release and how everything was great, ect, ect. You know the ONE thing he didn't say anything about? CUSTOMER SERVICE!! That is right, Squires went on usual self-promotion tour yet had nothing to say about how NS is or will be helping customers. And why not? BECAUSE THEY DON'T GIVE A RATS *** ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!! This company is of the mindset that its customers exist to serve the railroad, not the way around. They think that businesses have no choice but to deal with NS and wont use trucks. But they have been called on that one time and again. NS will never improve until it fundamentally changes its thinking, i.e cares about its customers. None of their press releases ever talk about customer service or how they intend to do better. Its always a bunch of stuff to try to make shareholders happy about the money NS feels entitled to.

How much exactly is Allot?
Salary personnel will soon move into all hourly job positions for half the amount of pay, half the amount of vacation time
The jackass of transportation!
If we just hire more managers and salary personnel we could turn this thing around in a heartbeat.
They are a bunch of losers, but the alternative is to cut allot more
NS is a half-azzed railroad!!
A buyout by any RR including CN or CP would be an improvement. It would be nice too seeing the majority of redundant management cut.
Buffett already publicly stated years ago that he would never sink a penny into NS due to mismanagement at the highest levels. There was no way then and certainly no way now that they have committed to running this company into the ground at all costs. What we are seeing right now is the eye of the hurricane....wait until Wheelers replacement has the butcher knife in her hand....
Only hope for NS is to be bought out by BNSF, but I doubt Warren Buffet wants any part of the NS goat & pony show
Sh– company, Sh– management, Sh– work environment!!!!
